The Disconnected Mind project will include:

cognitive tests to measure volunteers' brain function over 40 years;
gene profiling to discover the role of genetics in cognitive health;
an attempt to understand the role of diet, exercise and smoking in mental decline; and
the impact of medical conditions on the mental function.
